As I prepare to start my second semester, I have been encouraged to look back over the past five months I have been living here in Paisley. To say it has all been plain sailing would be covering things up, to say the least but I have learnt a lot through this time.
I still have not found a new church properly although I have been attending Central Baptist Church and Bethany Evangelical. Both churches have made me feel welcome but I am still missing being around Bo’ness Baptist and all the excitement.
This semester I have three new courses which will conclude my first year at The Scottish Baptist College, this semester the classes are Evangelicalism, Pastoral Ethics and Biblical Exegesis. I look forward to learning more about all these subjects.
I have received my results back for the three classes that I undertook last semester and I have passed them all, I am very happy with this as it assures me that with hard work and reliance on God I can get through it all.
God has blessed my time here so far and I would ask for your continual prayers as with each semester comes more work and requires a deeper thinking and knowledge.
